Sheri Maynore, LPC

Psychotherapist

Sheri Maynore, MA, (She/Hers)

Welcome! As a queer-identified therapist, I am dedicated to guiding you through the journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Whether you're seeking support in individual therapy, relationship counseling, or group therapy, my goal is to create a warm and accepting space where you can explore and embrace all aspects of yourself.

With a deep focus on trauma-informed care, and expertise in kink, polyamory, queer identities, religious trauma and eating disorders, I am committed to offering a safe and supportive environment. I have a special interest in assisting clients navigating mixed neurotype relationships, sexual discrepancies, and complex trauma, as well as exploring intersections of race, gender, and more.

I am passionate about helping individuals and couples through relational transitions, including opening up relationships, exploring polyamory, and navigating kink. Whether you are facing changes in your relationship dynamics or seeking support for personal growth, I am here to support you every step of the way.

Driven by curiosity and a commitment to authenticity, I invite individuals who may feel marginalized or misunderstood to explore their unique stories and experiences. Together, we navigate the effects of oppression and marginalization, fostering empowerment and resilience. As a queer-identified therapist, I embrace and celebrate diverse identities, while also addressing issues such as white identity consciousness-raising.

Believing in the intrinsic worth of every individual, I tailor therapy sessions to your specific needs and goals, drawing from an eclectic blend of modalities. Our work together involves delving into the depths of the unconscious, uncovering hidden truths and shadow aspects, to cultivate a deeper understanding of the self. Together, we navigate the effects of trauma and marginalization, fostering empowerment and resilience.

In our sessions, I hold space for you to explore your authentic self, free from judgment or expectation. It's an honor to accompany you on your journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Please feel free to reach out for an appointment—I'm here to support you every step of the way.
