Community Health and Outreach, Sound Healer, Mental Health Professional in Training Mirza is a non-binary Egyptian-Levantine community leader, educator, and multidisciplinary sound artist. As a passionate connector between the clinic and the community, Mirza is dedicated to improving mental health for all. They forge meaningful collaborations with community organizations to develop and manage innovative mental health and wellness programs that make a tangible difference. Their advocacy for supportive policies expands access to care, while their public awareness work helps dismantle stigma and build bridges of understanding. Listening to the community is at the heart of Mirza’s approach, ensuring that feedback directly shapes The Depth Collective’s services. They are deeply committed to fostering wellness both within the practice and across the broader community. As a healer, Mirza integrates social, emotional, and spiritual justice through mindfulness and the cultural intersectionality of sound, music, and mental health work, supporting people in discovering their true selves and embarking on their healing journeys. Mirza holds an M.D. in General Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt, and is currently pursuing a master’s in clinical counseling at Bradley University. As an immigrant, neurodivergent, queer, and trans individual, Mirza is guided by hope, vulnerability, and the power of rewriting narratives of self-knowledge for survivors of harm. Their approach to healing is informed by education, creative practice, spirituality, and culture, seeing themselves as a conduit for divine sound, healing, wisdom, love, and kindness in the world.
